What problems can loose pet hair cause in humans?

One of my cats is I think what they call a "Tabby", and has more hair than Cousin It. We can't possibly keep on top of vacuuming all of it every day, but wonder how unhealthy is it to be breathed in?

It isn't really unhealthy as long as you aren't allergic to the hair. You'll see rashes or if you are doing a lot of sneezing. If this is the case, I recommend getting her groomed or getting one of those mits that helps get rid of the dead hair on the cats. We used to have a cat with long hair and the hair wasn't any problem. I have a cat now who has short hair but sheds like crazy so I have to vacuum every other day. =)
