to keep sensitive parts of our body warm but also in some cases I have heard that hair on certain body parts is there to keep us clean and to protect the sensitive areas. people, mostly men, who have elevated Androgens cause them to grow more hair.

I've heard that the hair on our heads is for protection. If a stone or something drops on your head and you have hair it is more likely to slide off and not hit you as directly. There has to be a reason because we lost most of the hair on the rest of our bodies while head hair remains.
