Well, it's important to remember that we are not descended from apes -- we share a common ancestor. This common ancestor may or may not have had hairy armpits, but at some point along the way, either we developed hair in ours or apes lost the hair in theirs.

Less body hair allowed early humans to live in hotter regions where we could not live before.

However we still needed a way to keep certain areas from losing as much heat. Hence we all have hair on our heads, armpits, and groins, all areas that lose large amounts of heat.

The loss of large amounts of body hair over most of our body allowed early humans to expand their habitat.

Because Apes and Humans are 2 different species.Humans are better evolved.We might have evolvedfrom Apes but we aren't Apes%26gt;

If you expect Humans and Apes to be same,then how will you distinguish between them?

Humans have more hair than apes but it's just alot thinner and shorter.
