What are the prevailing theories concerning humans' lack of hair?

1. Testosterone - the theory is that it kills the hair follicles.

(Or a bald scientists' theory)

2. Heriditary from the maternal Grandfather

3. Alopecia - An infection that causes hair loss

4. Stress - Speak for itself

OR a combination of two or more of the above.

What are the prevailing theories concerning humans' lack of hair?

We don't like it in excess and so we shave it or wax it off. Haha. Ok really I'm not stupid. I understand your question, I just don't have an answer for you. Evolution or adaptation probably has something to do with it though! Good luck!
